Silver Oak Wine Dinner, November 6th, 2008
Thursday, November 6th was a beautiful evening. Perfect, in fact, for a lovely dinner party. It began with hors-d’oeuvres and royale cocktails of champagne and Chambourg. Six dinner courses followed, paired with wines from Umbria, Piemonte, Veneto, California (Silver Oak, Alexander Valley) and a lovely 10 year old Tawny Port... the perfect foil for the Blackforest crepes.
